Anyone can book an appointment without the need of a referral. But please note an EPC referral from your GP may be needed to be eligible for Medicare rebate.
Yes. If you have a care plan from your GP, Medicare may provide a rebate for your visits to a dietitian to help manage chronic health conditions. The Medicare rebate is about $58. You may need to pay the gap between the fee and the Medicare rebate.
If you have private health insurance, check with your provider to learn more about what costs are covered.
The number of visits eligible for the rebate depends on your care plan.
I accept medicare care plans, DVA, eating disorder referrals, and diabetes assessment referrals!
